Organic Dwarf Namwah Banana Plant
This variety of banana plant is excellent as a dessert fruit, but also good for dehydrating/processing. Use this starter plant to grow bananas in the yard or community garden!
DWARF NAMWAH: 5-8ft tall. Highly vigorous producer of suckers, very hardy and easy to grow plants. Bunch medium-sized, 30-60lbs. Resistant to Black Sigatoka, highly tolerant to corm weevils and BBTV (Banana bunchy top virus). Medium-sized fruit, 4-5”, among the highest sugar content of any ripe banana, excellent as a dessert fruit, but also good for dehydrating/processing.
