Also known as eggfruit or yellow sapote, it has a dense, cake-like texture that tastes similar to sweet potato.
Can take a week or more to fully ripen. Fruit is ripe when you can gently push a dent into the skin all around the fruit. Do not refrigerate until the fruit has ripened.
